For your first 30 days every feature works on those 5 marks — after that, premium features (client notifications, performance graph, templates) become paid, but deadline monitoring and your weekly digest keep going.
What happens after day 30 on free?
Deadline monitoring, TSDR sync, and your weekly digest keep running — those never go away, and nothing in your docket is hidden or deleted. Premium features (performance graph, client notifications, templates) become part of a paid plan. Upgrading is one click away whenever you're ready.
What's included in the paid trials?
Everything. Full access for 14 days. Import your trademarks, explore all features, get the digest. A credit card starts the trial — cancel anytime before it ends and you won't be billed.
Can I upgrade from Free to a paid plan later?
Yes, anytime. When you hit 5 marks and want more, or after day 30 when features gate, click "Subscribe Now" from inside the app. Features unlock immediately on subscribe — no waiting for next billing cycle.
How does USPTO verification work?
After you mark a filing as complete, we check TSDR every 24 hours to confirm USPTO received your submission. We keep checking until the USPTO acceptance window for that filing type closes — and if the confirming event never appears, the deadline is flagged rather than quietly closed. Nothing you mark complete is taken on trust.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees. You keep full access through the end of the period you have already paid for. If you come back later your trademarks and their history are still here — we do not delete your data when a subscription ends. Ask us at support@makelegaldocs.com if you want it removed.
