Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 23, 2026
MLD Logic, Inc. ("us", "we", or "our") operates the DeadlineDocket.com website and service (the "Service").
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.

Information Collection and Use
We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.

- Email address
- First name and last name
- Phone number
- Law firm or company name
- Address, State, ZIP/Postal code, City

- Cookies and Usage Data
We may use your Personal Data to contact you with newsletters, weekly digest emails, or service notifications. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from your account settings or by contacting us.
Usage Data
We may also collect information about how the Service is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
Tracking & Cookies Data
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information.
You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.
Examples of Cookies we use:
- Session Cookies. We use Session Cookies to operate our Service.
- Preference Cookies. We use Preference Cookies to remember your preferences and various settings.
- Security Cookies. We use Security Cookies for security purposes.
Analytics & Session Replay (Microsoft Clarity)
We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our public website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay, to improve and market our products and services. This data is captured using first- and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies. We do not run Clarity on the secure, logged-in areas of the application — only on our public marketing pages. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Use of Data
MLD Logic, Inc. uses the collected data for various purposes:
- To provide and maintain our Service
- To notify you about changes to our Service
- To allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so
- To provide customer support
- To gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our Service
- To monitor the usage of our Service
- To detect, prevent and address technical issues
- To send weekly digest emails summarizing your trademark deadlines
Third-Party Services
USPTO Data
Our Service integrates with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) TSDR system to retrieve trademark status data. This data is publicly available and retrieved on your behalf to populate your dashboard.
Artificial Intelligence Providers
Our optional AI drafting tools are available only to firms that supply their own API key for a third-party AI provider (currently Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or xAI). These features are off unless your firm enables them and provides that key.
When they are enabled, the content you submit to those tools — including USPTO office action text and the trademark details associated with it — is transmitted to the provider your firm selected. Because your firm holds the account and the commercial relationship with that provider, the provider's own privacy, retention, and model-training policies govern what happens to that content. We do not transmit your data to any AI provider on our own account, and we do not use your data to train any model. See Section 3a of our Terms of Service for the corresponding contractual terms.
Analytics
In addition to Microsoft Clarity described above, we use Google Analytics 4 on our public marketing pages to measure traffic and conversion. It records page views and a small number of events, such as beginning a signup. We do not send client data or the contents of your account to any analytics provider, and analytics are not loaded on the logged-in application. Two of our public pages address a mark by its USPTO serial number in the URL (for example /mark/99458164), so on those pages the serial forms part of the page address recorded by analytics. Serial numbers are public USPTO record data, and nothing from a customer account is transmitted.
Address Autocomplete (Google Maps Platform)
Where we ask for a firm name or postal address — on the signup form and on your firm settings page — we use Google's Places service to offer address suggestions as you type. The characters you type into those two fields are sent to Google to return suggestions, along with our public API key and, as with any script a page loads, the address of our site. This is an address-completion convenience, not analytics: it is not used to build a profile of you, and we send it no trademark, client, or docket data. It is separate from the analytics described above, which run only on our public marketing pages.
Payments
We may provide paid products and/or services within the Service. In that case, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. Paddle as our Merchant of Record).
We do not store or collect your full payment card number, expiry date, or security code. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors, whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy, and those processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS. We do store the last four digits and the card brand returned to us by the payment processor, and display them on your billing page so you can see which card is on file.
Transfer of Data
Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.
Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
MLD Logic, Inc. will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Disclosure of Data
Business Transaction
If MLD Logic, Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
Disclosure for Law Enforcement
Under certain circumstances, MLD Logic, Inc. may be required to disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).
Security of Data
The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your account data for as long as your account exists, and we do not automatically delete it when a subscription ends. That is deliberate: trademark deadlines are long-lived, and a lapsed subscription is frequently followed by a return. Your trademarks, deadlines, prosecution history, and communication records remain in place unless you ask us to remove them.
You may request deletion of your account and its data at any time by emailing support@makelegaldocs.com from an address associated with the account. We will delete or irreversibly anonymize the data within 30 days of verifying the request, except where we are required to retain records for legal, tax, or accounting purposes — billing records held by our Merchant of Record are subject to their own retention obligations. Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
You may also request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or object to a particular use, using the same address. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Service Providers
We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Links to Other Sites
Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.
Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
